someone had a birthday :)

Our daughter just had her 2nd birthday!! MAN, it goes by FAST! We did an under the sea/mermaid theme for her party and she had a great time! I didn't know 2 year olds could really understand it was their birthday and the party was for them, but she did :)

My husband knew Natalie from high school and I knew her through blog stalking (HEY!, atleast I'll admit it) :). We finally got to meet so I could get some pictures of her babies for their first birthday and boy are they CUTE!! They were literally the CALMEST babies (maybe they were trying to show off) I have EVER dealt with. So easy going...did all my poses. We also had a grandmother helping in the background too, which made it much much easier :)

Lachlann is 2 - Katy, TX Child Photographer

You might remember Lachlann from Here and Here AND Here! She's a favorite of mine :) Anyways...they are about to celebrate her 2nd birthday and needed some pictures. So, we made a play date out of it and I brought madison and let her play around while I took pictures. It always helps to have maddie around b/c it makes her friends more smiley and giggly when she is there. Do I have a future entertainer in the making?

This is my favorite types of sessions too. Just let the child do what they want to do and I just document it :)...so here they are!

Megan and I go WAYYY back...I know for sure we were in elementary together (also, middle school and high school), but did we go to the same daycare? I can't remember. Anyways, she needed some good portraits to use for various things and hired ME to do it :).

"R" Family - Mercer Arboretum - Humble, TX Photographer

Isn't this kiddo the perfect match between mom and dad? Most of the time I see more of one parent than the other in their faces but to me this child is 50% mom and 50% dad. :) Ian just turned 1 and was already walking around like a pro! What a boy!! My daughter wanted to focus more on talking than walking :). She has def. mastered the talking...still not sure who she gets it from :P!
